Google reader gets an update, it still sucks

Google reader has undergone an update and with quicksilver style navigations between labels. Have been using Grease Monkey scripts for label navigation in Gmail created by some google programmer. This unofficial script has better navigation than the one provided by google in reader. One has to choose press “gl” to get into label navigation, then type the label name and press enter to be able to navigate to the chosen label. It would be better if one could navigate to the label without pressing enter once the first few letters of labels are typed to resolve ambiguity. Besides the UI still is diffcult to use and I don’t understand the need for the frame at the top. The design could have been much more intutive if it had two frames instead of the three frames. I haven’t figured out a way to delete a label once created and removing subscription is as tedious as ever. Not enough to move me away from bloglines, which by far is more crisp and easier to use. Besides the main blog posts have limited space since the frames are taking too much of space.
