Firefox has changed my browsing experience, firefox extensions rock and I am using one of them to post them on this blog. Today I installed Performancing for Firefox.

Performancing for Firefox is a full featured blog editor that sits right within Firefox. Just hit F8 or click the little pencil icon at the bottom right to bring up the blog editor and easily post to your Wordpress, MovableType or Blogger blogs.

One of the best thing about Performancing is I can research for my blog and write at the same time without switching between windows. I splits your window into two with the blog editor at the bottom, so one can navigate between the tabs and just drag text/links onto the blogeditor.

Posting from flick is also easier, since you can browse the flickr photos, grab the URL and drop onto the blog. For any blogger this is a must have extensions and you can forget any other blog editor or flock for that matter.
So this brings the list of firefox extensions on my browser to nine

3. PDF Download extension for firefox.
4. AJAX Yahoomail preview for firerox.
5. Gmail Delete button.
6. Download them all.

What I like a lot is the windows like feel that I get when I am working within firefox. I get an icon at the right hand bottom portion of the screen to trigger the application, just like the system tray. Besides the blogger comments extension behaves similar to the notifications used by all instant messengers.

Disaster at the end, I finish typing my post and try to save, repeatedly get “error contacting atom server”, don’t know what this means. Either blogger api has gone wrong or perhaps this extension. A bit disappointed, this post was meant to be written using Performancing ..well back to sick old blogger editor. For now.
